Library, Thursday (12/10)

One of the first things Cosette did upon her arrival in the library this morning was to set two very large thermoses down on the desk; one had a small candy cane tied to its handle, because if she was going to make sure she knew which contained the peppermint mocha she might as well make it look cute.

Another one of those things was to decorate the circulation desk with strings of multicolored lights and garlands. Even if it was just for today, there was no way anyone was going to keep her from indulging in as much holiday cheer as she could manage.

Which would be a lot, by the way.

Whoever guessed what this week's class was gonna be about got a no-prize, because look at the kitchen Atton'd simulated.

"This week, you get to see if you can actually stretch that stuff four days."

He gestured at the kitchen. "What are you waiting for? Get cooking."

Adulting With Cars, Thursday, Third Period

"Let's talk about cell phones and cars," Brian decided. "Cell phones can be dangerous. They're a distraction, when you need to be focused on the large piece of machinery you're operating. So, don't text and drive. Just don't. Pull over if it's that important. Now, phone calls are a slightly different story, thanks to the magic of Bluetooth. You can answer your calls through your car, or a headset or whatever. In this case you'll be using your cars, which are now Bluetooth-enabled. You've also been supplied with a phone. After successfully completing this step, you'll start your course and make a phone call while driving. Instructions for how to pair your phone are in the front seat of your cars. Aaaaand go!"
