Cosette had once again decided to take the risk of going out in the fog just to pick up a few boxes of pastries for any researchers who would be in the library today -- or anyone, really, no matter if they were there to research or just because being around the books made them feel better during a crisis.

So to go along with the freshly brewed coffee that she'd replenish all day as needed, there were scones, and muffins, and a lot of napkins.

Because even with creepy fog and someone stealing souls, you were not getting sticky fingers on the books on her watch.

After dealing with the fog this morning, Jones sent out a last minute note to her students cancelling class. On the door to her office she left another note instructing the students to stay in the dorms and avoid any dangerous activities.

Yes. Class was cancelled for the day. Why buck a trend?

JUST DON'T BE AN IDIOT

Helpfully, the gym was strewn with sleeping bags, just in case anyone wanted to take that nap part seriously. Atton believed in taking things seriously. At least a third of the time.

Maybe a fourth?

Anyway.

Josh skittered to the classroom to put up a sign there as well for any of his less technologically advanced students, then went back to hiding. He knew his strengths, dammit, and whatever was happening now was nothing he knew how to fix.

Karla had sent out an email the night before, but also made sure to stop by her classroom and post a sign just in case.

No class.
If you need a safe place, stick to your dorms, the library here at school, or Caritas in town.
I won't tell you to stay out of this because I never listened when someone said that to me,
but be smart about it.
