Cara was holding class inside Danger Shop with a holographic replica of one of the dead eels rather than outdoors with a real one today, because she was terrible but not that cruel.

"I hope that most of you noticed the island recently decided to demonstrate why we are all fools for living here," she began. "Since all of you seemed to have survived, I'm almost tempted to just give you all a pass for the week as you've demonstrated the most important skill I'm trying to teach you, but you're not that lucky."

She gestured at the eel. "Instead we're going to dissect things, figuratively speaking. I;d like you to talk with each other about what you did, what you'd have done differently if you'd had advance warnings about flying eels, and how you can put the experience to use to in the future. I'd encourage flexibility with that last, this place likes to repeat some kinds of insanity, but it seems to prefer variety in the weird and disgusting things you have to kill."

Once again, the library seemed to be behaving itself for Elsa when she came in for her shift, though she couldn't help but notice that all of the books for her to return today had the came caption on them; The Movie Novelization.

There was a Space Battles novel adaptation of the movies, and one for Death In A Fence, and another one featuring a leather-clad biker skeleton with his head on fire on the cover. Elsa was starting to get suspicious when she put away a few of the yellow For Dummies books that were claiming to be novelizations. She was only a little twitchy when a cookbook claimed to be the same. But she was determined to get throu-

"I know the Barry Plodder novels came before the movies!"

Look, Elsa had a low tolerance for absolute nonsense. She was drawing the line, here.
