Bond had told his students to meet him down in the Danger Shop today. Which was set up as with a number of viewing stations, complete with several comfortable chairs and sound dampening walls around each station. "Good morning, and welcome to our last class. I had intended on a written exam," he had not, "but given the recent events instead we'll be doing something much more leisurely."

Gestured to the viewing stations. "These have been set up with a library of different media from around this world and several others. I would like you to find something that sounds like it would be interesting to watch and enjoy it."

Thor wasn't really a fan of final examinations, so he hadn't planned any real sort of test for today.

"Well, today is our final meeting as a class," Thor said. "There isn't a formal examination, just a few questions to think about: thinking about the different types of stories we've talked about and experienced throughout the past few months... if someone were to write a heroic tale about your own life, what would your journey be? Your nemesis? It is okay if your daily life doesn't see you facing off against armies or monsters, as we've seen in some of the tales we've read, heroism comes in all forms. If you would like to share your answers with the rest of the class, feel free, but you are not obligated to do so."

Once anyone who'd wished to share had done so, Thor spoke again. "It's been a pleasure working with all of you, and I hope there will be some familiar faces in the next class that I teach."

The students today might find the Danger Shop looking a little familiar.

"Anyone who has class with me previously knows I do not believe in the contemporary concept of a final exam," Ghanima said briskly, once everyone had arrived. Again, gone were the Imperial-style gowns she usually wore, but this time, she was clad in a stillsuit and cloak, minus the full rebreather. Water discipline and Fremen habits died hard, and Ghanima had not been able to bring herself to do this without being attired properly. She was flanked by two NPC Danger Shop-generated Fedaykin.

"Welcome back to Dune," she continued, twirling her Maker hooks in her hands. "Today, you will have the option to undergo a Fremen rite of adulthood - sort of." Ghanima grinned, her eyes bright. "You'll ride the Maker."

"This is totally optional. Those of you who do not wish to try may sit on the designated dune to cheer on your classmates, and there is no shame in doing so. Fremen are raised from birth to ride sandworms, and you've only had one class about Dune."

A smaller sandworm appeared, and she proceeded to handwavily explain how to mount and ride the worm, with her two programmed Fremen assisting.

"I'll be first-up the first time," she said, once the tutorial was done, "--and take it for a circuit around our facsimile of a desert. Then anyone who wants to try summoning their own sandworm can have a try."

[OOC: Apologies for late - I have the plaaaaaague and just got up. OCD is ready to ride.]

The class met in the Danger Shop this last time. It was set up as a giant chamber full of consoles and controls and screens and a giant window from which you could see the stars all around.

And then there was a desk, behind which Atton was sitting with his feet propped up on it because, duh, of course.

"Hey," he said. "I figure most of you deserve a passing grade just because this island hasn't killed you yet. You wanna shoot for the stars and get higher than passing, you can try and get off this space station. You don't, you can go home right now."

Beat.

"Except for you, Sparks." He threw a box onto the desk. "Pizza."
