Welcome to the school gates, everyone! There were tables set up and plenty of baked goods, hopefully some made by people in the class.

"Welcome to the smallest fundraiser you'll take part in this session," Bruce said. It was probably surprising, but he was dressed down a bit today. No suit coat, no tie... He was rocking the business casual. As it turned out, people didn't usually buy too many baked goods from a guy in a dark suit. "The goals for this are simple. Something you made gets put toward a good cause, then you sell the treats to people who care at least a little about your cause. Or maybe they were just hungry. One of the truths to fundraising is that you're not picky about why somebody's giving you their money unless you have a good reason for it."

"Not, let's get to work selling."

[OOC: There are playing and modding threads for buying baked goods, so the general public is welcome!]

Bond's class was back in the Danger Shop, but instead of just one car at the driving course, there were enough for everyone in the class. This boded well.

"Good morning," Bond said. "Now we're going to be jumping in the deep end this week, as you'll all be driving again, but all on the same road at the same time. This serves several purposes, firstly it gives you more experience behind the wheel, it gives you experience sharing the road with other drivers, and it helps demonstrate the need for road rules by showing what happens when there aren't any."

He paused. "Technically, not quite what happens, as in addition to the safety protocols keeping you from a horrible mangled death, the crash physics have been...tweaked." He wasn't going to elaborate further on that.

"Well, what are you all waiting for?"

“Today we’re going to talk conflict resolution,” Jack began, as she welcomed the students to a standard classroom with chairs set in a circle. “Now, maybe you’re lucky. Maybe you’re some freaky gentle soul who loves everyone you’ve ever met. But for most of us, that ain’t going to happen. There’s going to be at least one person on any squad who you could drop out of an airlock and go away whistling.

“For me, it was this woman who worked for a group that tortured me when I was a kid. Not her fault – she was a kid back then too – but she didn’t want to admit the group maybe had a couple little problems for something like that to happen. We came this close to just having a throwdown before our commander told us to knock it the f- the heck off and concentrate on our real problem. Turned out she was right.

“And that’s the main thing you got to remember when you’re trying to work with somebody you can’t stand. They may be a total jerk, but they’re still on your team. Trying to kill them means you’re wasting energy that could go to killing an actual bad guy.

“There are a couple ways you can resolve the situation. You can agree to disagree and just drop it. You can find a compromise, which means everybody is equally unhappy but not totally screwed. You can just avoid the person you're fighting with. Or you can find somebody to mediate the fight.”

She went around the circle of students, handing out slips of paper. “Each of you now has an issue with the person sitting next to you. You get to try to work it out. If you need a mediator, raise your hand and I’ll come on over.”

Today when the students came to the Danger Shop, where they'd been told to meet thanks to a hastily scrawled note on the door to their normal classroom that read We're in that big mindfuck room, go there, they'd find Cheryl and Pam standing in a room that certainly looked like a TSA checkpoint. (Assuming all of you were familiar with such a thing.)

"Ugh, they found us. Pam, we have to be more vague next time."
