When the students arrived at the Danger Shop today, they'd find everything looking like usual - Clint and his arms were there along with all their supplies, but today, the targets were swinging back and forth in a slow, rocking motion.

"Hey guys, I figured it was time to make things a little more challenging," Clint said. "If you're ever in a fighting situation like, say, dealing with a rain of sharks--" No, he wasn't going to be getting over that any time soon. "--you're gonna have to be able to take your shot while your target is moving. Get yourselves set up, and see how you do with these targets."

There were a number of various-sized boxes on the desks when Oz's class arrived at the Danger Shop.

"Now, when embarking on a campaign of prank warfare, I personally prefer to be original, less chance of my victims being prepared." Oz began, which should probably serve as a warning to all, not for this specific class, just in general. "But at the same time, there are people who spend their time and creativity developing all sorts of gadgets and equipment for the less innovative prankster, and there's no reasons why you should not take advantage of every opportunity to learn from their example as well as mine."

He gestured to the boxes. "These contain a selection of toys and trinkets designed for pranking ones class- or work-mates. I want you to take them for a bit of a spin, see how they do or don't fit into your pranking style, which by now you should be starting to get an idea of. Just keep in mind that just because we're in the Danger Shop is no reasons to risk putting someone's eye out, so be careful. I don't want to have to explain anything to the nurses at the clinic."

[Wait for it.]

"The most basic aspect of leadership, as you may imagine, is your ability to communicate orders," Batman explained. The shop seemed to be a small room with large windows that you couldn't see anything out of yet. There was also a pair of microphones by the main window. It was probably safe to assume you'd be seeing something through the windows soon. "You tell the people following you what to do, and if you're good enough at communicating and present a good enough reason to do it, they'll follow your directions."

"But even if you're doing your part, obstacles can still present themselves." Batman pressed a button on the shop remote and the space outside the windows lit up. The room they were in was above a tall hedge maze. At two different points in the maze, the students' sidekicks looked confused. "Get started directing your sidekicks out of the maze and you'll see what I mean."

What he meant was that the speaker technology was less than drive thru quality. The sidekicks would have a lot of trouble understanding you, so clear, concise, and hopefully lucky was the way to go.

Drac was actually very excited today. As soon as everyone was seated he burst into smiles, arms spread wide. "I found one!"

One what? Well, judging from the presence of the zombie trying to smash a video cassette tape against the projector, today was another movie day.

"Today is another movie." Sorry. Drac can't read narration. "'Werewolves' was our topic last week. I managed to locate a modern film that gets a good number of details about werewolves correct. It is called..." He looked at the paper on his desk. "Hoops-Garou." He winced at the pun in there. "It's about a young man who discovers that he is actually a werewolf, born in a family of werewolves that are in hiding in the human world. So in hiding that they do not even tell him the family secret."

Drac frowned slightly. "I don't condone hiding such things from children, though; not knowing you're a monster causes trouble later, as is shown in this film. I also suggest that you don't actually expose yourself as this young man does - It won't just lose you popularity and parts in theater plays. It can get you killed. I don't want to hear that of any of you." Or anyone ever again.

"Humans in the class, please note how the werewolf in this film is portrayed as a normal teenager. His family as a normal family. This is very close to the life my friends live... well, except with more pups. Very active pups. And by active, I mean destructive. Young werewolves are like that; I'm told they calm down as they get older, though." He didn't believe it.

"The young man's statement near the end of this movie is a very important lesson for everyone to remember: 'I wanna be myself'. That's all monsters really want to be." He nodded to the zombie, now wound tightly up in the video tape it had pulled out of the cassette, who pushed a button and somehow started the movie.

Drac is so going to get kids from the Winchester class confused.

The students would find their desks had been set in a row today, and an array of locks were jumbled together on a table in the front.

"Today, we're talking about lockpicking," Jack said, likely surprising exactly no one. "It may be the most useful class in this term. Even if you never use it to get into a place you shouldn't be -- which isn't something I'd recommend, of course -- there will come a time when you lock yourself out of your house or apartment, and being able to pick the lock will save you a call to the locksmith."

He plucked a lock off the table and held it up. "There are many different kinds of locks; the type we're focusing on today is a simple tumbler lock with a key. Inside the lock, there's a series of pins. When you put your key into it, you're pushing the pins out of the way. This allows the lock to turn over, permitting you to go inside. So when you're picking a lock, what you're trying to do is get those pins out of the way without having the proper key. The easiest way to do it is to use a thin metal rod in the keyhole, like so --"

He made a few small motions with his hands and wrists, and in a moment the lock was undone.

"So, a hair pin may work occasionally, if the lock is simple enough. A credit card works differently -- you're basically using the card to push the bolt out of the way. Personally I've never seen it work, but any port in a storm. But if you know in advance you need to pick locks or are interested in lockpicking as a hobby, I'd recommend acquiring a lockpick kit. They're widely available on the internet, and they're what we'll be using today."

"We're going to watch a short film depicting lockpicking, and then it's your turn to try it. And if any of you already know how to pick this type of lock and want something more challenging, let me know and I'll set you up."

And then he started the movie.
