Today the Danger Shop resembled a large changing room, with a vast and varied collection of clothes to choose from.

"Good afternoon, class," Bond greeted them. "We have a more hands on exercise this week, namely choosing a disguise. Much like trying to hard to act inconspicuous will be likely to draw attention, nothing sticks out more than a disguise that's too obviously a disguise. Rather than dark glasses and fake facial hair, you want something appropriate to the situation, the more nondescript the better, though something eye-catching that's also easily removable or hidden can be useful if you want to draw attention away from your face. Another thing to remember is that what's appropriate to a situation will change with depending on the situation, for example a region's traditional clothing will only draw attention if you are obviously not from that region, so playing up the difference by looking like a tourist may be a smarter tack."

"Now, there's a list of scenarios by the mirrors, pick one and try to come up with an appropriate outfit for you to blend in and not draw attention to yourself."

So, Evan really hadn't known what to make of the small stack of little balls that were sitting on the desk to greet him when he stepped into the library that morning. He had been expecting the books to be up to something today, sure, but this... this really didn't seem to be a book thing.

Of course, it wasn't long before curiosity got the better of him and he pressed the button on one of the little red and white balls.

"Puppy!"

The library was open, and if anybody needed Evan, they'd find him curled up on the floor behind the desk with a book, more or less buried under dozing puppies and kittens.

Yakko was accompanied by a large globe to start class today. He was also accompanied by the Mexican Hat Dance music.

"To find today's topic
We spin the globe around
Where will my pointer stick?
Somewhere on solid ground

The globe it slowly stops
Close to the United States
And now the pointer drops
Today is one of the greats!
"

As Yakko's pointer hit a spot in north-central Mexico, the globe split in two, letting a whole bunch of chihuahua pups free as the music sped up.

"Today we study Chihuahua
The dog-loving Mexican state
It seemed thematically acceptable
Hug a puppy, it feels great!
"

Yakko hugged a puppy. It did, in fact, feel great.

Yep, this week's class is a pun on the random event. )

When the students arrived at the classroom today, they would find quite a few moddable Pokéballs in a pile at the front of the room -- not at the desks, mind, because that would've taken effort to distribute them all, but still.

April, meanwhile, had her feet up on her desk and a pit bull puppy on her lap, and she looked... somewhat less hostile than usual. So that was something.

"So sometimes it's hard to be lazy when someone has something cute in your face," she informed the class, looking up from where she'd been playing with one of her puppy's widdle paws. "Or when they're hot or whatever, but I can't program the classroom to make you guys hot, so this is what we're settling with instead."

Wasn't she sweet?

"So everyone get one of these ball things and partner up. There's cute animals inside. Then one person tries to convince the other one to do something with the cute animal's help, the other one tries to resist." She scratched behind her puppy's ear and he made a little contented noise. April waited for the adorableness of that to subside slightly before concluding, "Go."

Drama room, circle, Thor. Business as usual. That he had a tiny orange tabby kitten nestled on his shoulder? Not quite as usual. But adorable!

"Today we are going to talk about something called improvisation. The ability to think on your feet! A quality that is much prized in battle, and on the stage as well. To that end, I have arranged you in small groups, and you shall be performing an activity called ‘Story Story Die’." He paused briefly to reach up and offer ear-skritches to the kitten on his shoulder. "Everyone in your group shall line up, and the person I point to shall start the story. Then I will point to someone else, and they shall have to pick up where the first person left off. If their continuation makes little to no sense, or if they hesitate, then the audience- the rest of you- shall shout ‘die’ and that person must sit down. Each group will continue until there is only one person left!"

Once every group had had a chance to go, Thor gestured for them to sit down once again. "I have set aside some time in case anyone has some ideas for the final show already. It is okay if you do not! It is early yet. But I urge you all to think about what you would like to do. For next week, I would like you to all bring a short musical piece that you enjoy and are capable of singing."

The cafe was full of puppies and kittens, all tumbling over each other and fighting over the balls they'd popped out of. Priestly was pretty sure that violated any number of health and safety codes for restaurants.

He was also pretty sure that he didn't care.

"Are you going to open the place up or not?" asked the cook, looming over Priestly where he lay on the floor in the middle of an honest-to-god puppy pile.

"Why do you hate small furry animals?" Priestly asked him.

The cook grumbled something uncomplimentary about Priestly's parentage and stormed back into the kitchen, where the dishwasher was defending the door way from adventurous baby animals with a mop.

"Hey, everyone," Ronan said, waving cheerily at the class. "Thought I'd surprise you all with a movie day today. We'll get back to our regular classwork next week."
