Bond's class met him in the Danger Shop, which was apparently set to resemble the island today. Bond met them at the North Gate of the school.

"Good afternoon, class," he said. "Before we begin, I'd just like to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you over these past several weeks, and I wish you well in the future. Now as to the final, it's a fairly simple one, get from here to the camp-grounds by the end of class, it's not a race, in fact I'd prefer you you made it as a group, however, I'm afraid that this gate's been locked and you're on the wrong side of it, so you'll have to take the long way around."

"You can start as soon as you're ready."

As usual, class met in the Danger Shop today. Said Danger Shop was programmed so that students would find themselves in a small cave that led off into a subterranean maze of half-lit (if actually kind of spacious) tunnels, and the occasional scratching sound or muffled shriek could be heard echoing out of the darkness. As for a clue to the source of those sounds, Kennedy was standing near one wall of the cave with her thumbs hooked in her pockets and one boot resting casually atop the prone figure of a human-sized reptilian creature. (Basically, a bipedal sewer alligator. Friendly-looking thing, wasn't it?)

"Enough of me talking at you," Kennedy began as soon as it looked like the class was assembled. "'cause honestly, I've spent more time lecturing you guys the past few weeks than I really have the patience for myself, and I'm a big believer in hands-on learning. So this is the sitch: you find your way out of here, or keep everyone in one piece until the end of class, but the key is you stick together. No letting your classmates get lost or fall into a hole or get dragged off by the lizard-man things wandering around in here, even if you can't stand them." Maybe Topher got a pointed look there. "I'm not gonna tell you what your roles are. There's one rule, and that's to watch each other's backs and not leave anyone behind. Simple enough, right?"

She paused just long enough to punctuate the rhetorical question, then snapped her fingers and gestured toward the tunnels.

"Okay then, let's do this thing."

This last session, the class was meeting outside the Danger Shop, and Electroclash was looking both grumpy and distracted. She had her reasons. "Right, final time," she drawled to her students. "Which also happens to my final class as well." And that may have contributed to her mood. Maybe. "I've made the fancy computer in there simulate my local pub for you. In this sim, you've just been on telly for – even if that might be unlikely – a heroic feat. There is a chalkboard by the bar where we keep track of who has the most TV appearances. You'll go in one by one, and your job is to convince a certain prick of a man that your oh so heroic televised act was worth getting on the board for."

So no, this class was not going to conform to anyone else's expectations of superheroing even in its last session.

"Your final lesson is this: most likely, the most crucial thing standing between you and fame are other fucking heroes." She paused, then added, grudgingly, "Also I could say most of you haven't been utter pains in the arse to teach." Except you, Bucky. "Now get to it."

Summer couldn't believe how fast time has passed. She had the Danger Room set up to resemble the coast of New Zealand. It was her third favorite place to surf, behind Hawaii and Australia.

"Today is our last class together," Summer began, once her students had settled in next to their boards. "It's been a lot of fun getting to spend time with you all and giving you a bit of knowledge and techniques on one of my favorite outdoor sports."

She grinned, sitting back on her board.

"I thought we could spend the last class practicing our moves and just have fun in the water. I hope you all have had as much a blast as me."

"Today is our last class together," Holmes informed his students once they'd all arrived. Because clearly it needed to be said. "Depending on your initiative and willingness to continue exploring different methods outside of class, this has either been an enlightening experience... Or a complete waste of time."

He paused for a moment, making a face. "That movie falls in the latter category."

With extreme prejudice. It needed to be burned to spare all from its awfulness. Possibly be exorcised by a priest.

"As it is our very last time together, you are free to do what you like. The supplies leftover from this past session remain to be used as necessary. So... Get to whatever it is you wish."
