Library [4/27]

It was... odd, this being Wesley's last library shift. The shelves were quiet and seemed to be cooperating, nothing seemed horribly misshelved or disorganized, and there weren't any surprises jumping out at him from the corners. (He'd checked.) It was... well, nice wasn't quite the word. Eerie, really.

"If this is your idea of a goodbye," he told the stacks, "it's a bit creepy."

What? The library never cooperated. Of course he was skeptical.

So for the last time, a slightly disoriented Wesley was sitting at the counter, side-eyeing the stacks every so often as if expecting an explosion.
