Library, Monday

All this talk of people disappearing was... troubling. As such, William was scouring the library's regular collection (for now) for any references to that sort of thing occurring, He wasn't having too much luck, as yet, but he was trying.

[ooc: lalala first day of school, SP is the name of the game.]

"Good morning," Steve said to the class. He stood in front of a large screen, and on a table off to the side were pastries, popcorn, and soda. You know what that meant: movie day. "I'm afraid some of the supplies I ordered for this week's class didn't arrive on time...something about 'multiversal delays.' So we'll instead be watching a film that I'm told shows depictions of pottery-making. I hope you enjoy it," Steve said as he went to dim the lights.

For class today, Morrigan and Alistair had shoved all the seats to one side of the room, leaving a large clear area. "We told you last week what would be expected today," Morrigan began crisply. "If you did not audition for the recital-thing, you will perform for us now."

"We care not what it is - holiday or otherwise - merely that you share some form of entertainment."

"So no, it doesn't have to be about... whatever you do that isn't Satinalia," Alistair contributed. He had puppets lying in his lap. Please don't ask him why he had puppets. "But it should be something like home. Or something that reminds you of home. Or just a very good joke..."

Today's class was back in the Danger Room again. It had been transformed into a city street with a horde of zombies situated at the very far end of the street. Scattered around Columbus appeared to be something that appeared to be a cross between a backpack and... well who could tell. It was strange.

"Hey everyone," Columbus said. "Today we're going to be taking a look at habitation. For me, this typically meant whatever house was completely empty and hopefully filled with canned goods. Which reminds me of another rule: Always check the expiration date on cans. Or it might be your expiration date."

He paused for a second to let that sink in. And possibly to regret that he didn't program the dangershop to have giant block letters appear behind him.

"Today we're going to go over potential housing solutions to help you survive the zombie apocalypse," Columbus said as he passed out handouts. "For the most part... you'd need to design these solutions in advance. Which for some of you might be feasible when returning home."

"However the one I like the best is the Vagabond, a mobile safehouse device. It allows for travel, provides limited power as well as camouflage. Today your assignment is to build one of these devices... before the horde of zombies try to kill you. Good luck!"
