Today's class was back in the Danger Room again. It had been transformed into a city street with a horde of zombies situated at the very far end of the street. Scattered around Columbus appeared to be something that appeared to be a cross between a backpack and... well who could tell. It was strange.
"Hey everyone," Columbus said. "Today we're going to be taking a look at habitation. For me, this typically meant whatever house was completely empty and hopefully filled with canned goods. Which reminds me of another rule: Always check the expiration date on cans. Or it might be your expiration date."
He paused for a second to let that sink in. And possibly to regret that he didn't program the dangershop to have giant block letters appear behind him.
"Today we're going to go over potential
housing solutions to help you survive the zombie apocalypse," Columbus said as he passed out handouts. "For the most part... you'd need to design these solutions in advance. Which for some of you might be feasible when returning home."
"However the one I like the best is the
Vagabond, a mobile safehouse device. It allows for travel, provides limited power as well as camouflage. Today your assignment is to build one of these devices... before the horde of zombies try to kill you. Good luck!"
