doubleohblonde: (Bond is not unhappy)

Bond's students might have thought they'd get an easy day after the past weekend, and usually they'd be right. Today however, they were greeted by a collection of instrument cases, sheet music, and instructional diagrams.

"Good morning, class," Bond said, after they'd arrived. "When it comes to displays of badassery, few thing compare to the dedication and skill that goes into playing a musical instrument, not least of which is the humble accordian. For those of you who doubt my claim, I would like to direct your attention to the screen for a few minutes."

When the video had finished playing, Bond continued. "While you mightn't be at that level by the end of class, I'm sure you'll all do your best."

After receiving Ben's message on Saturday, to say that Anakin was a little anxious to see what had happened to the droid babies over the past week was vastly understating things.

Anakin had never really that lesson about letting things go and he'd always had an affinity for building his own friends droids.

None of that anxiety showed on his face as he breezed into the classroom and leaned against his desk. "So I hear it was an interesting weekend," he said, sounding a little dry. "It gives us an excellent opportunity to talk about how our morality can evolve over time. Something you thought was icky and wrong as a five year old--kissing other people, for instance, or taking regular baths--can be part of your everyday life as a teenager."

Especially the bath thing, Anakin hoped.

"And while children often play at raising other children through play, they aren't really that equipped to be primary caretakers for another living being." So thank the Force they'd had droids. "Tell me about your adventures as parents this week and how that shifted over the weekend, or if you'd prefer, discuss three ways your views have changed on the world since you were a child."

"Hey guys," Columbus said as everyone filed into the classroom. "Sounds like you all had a busy weekend. I think. I might have heard something on the radio about a bunch of kids invading?"

Columbus really needed to unhook from the internet from time to time.

"Anyhow, we'll just make it easy today. Watch this popular show and contrast their actions against some of the rules I've already taught you in class. All right? Also, there's free twinkies to eat as well. Enjoy!"

"Welcome to class," Max said with a grin. "You might have guessed," from the screen, "that we're going to be watching a very educational film today. Pay attention. You'll learn all sorts of important historical facts, and gain a better understanding of the history of the European traditions of honorable combat and chivalry."

Max didn't think they needed any more introduction than that before putting on said 'very educational' film. In all it's historically accurate glory.

Rinoa didn't mean to be late to the library. She had just stayed up entirely too late with her filing system finally started, and had forgotten to set an alarm. Angelo usually woke her to be let outside, but -- wait, where was Angelo!?? OH. Right. Squall had her. Right, then.

Rinoa showered and threw on clothes in a hurry, and then packed up a stack of papers and dragged them in to the library with her. She had to hope Belle wouldn't mind. Paperwork seemed appropriate for a library.

(open / ocd-free / sp warnings in effect / it's one of THOSE days / sorry)

Gabrielle wasn't going to ask why she thought she heard the sound of a tea kettle whistling faintly through the stacks every time she glanced in any direction, really she wasn't.

She'd spend a lot of time today searching for the source of the noise, sure, but not ask. As quests went, that one seemed pretty unfulfilling, and anyway, around here sometimes it was just better not to.
