Raven had heard about the dance last night but hadn't been in the mood to go (though she had to wonder why Bobby's socks were necessary for it). She'd spent the evening meditating instead, and now she felt refreshed and balanced as she opened up the library for the day.

Which turned out to be a good thing because the astronomy section was in an uproar over rumors and insane theories about comets coming to destroy the planet. She had to soothe several of the textbooks so they didn't riot.
