Raven was glad to see the snow gone when she returned to Fandom from Kaeleer that morning to open up the library, but the quiet and emptiness of this new location made her feel uneasy. She had a bad feeling about this, but she chalked it up to being unsettled by the situation in Kaeleer and worrying about Karla's safety.

She distracted herself from those thoughts by bringing Joni to the library with her. Playing with a kitty was always good for dispelling feelings of gloom.
