trigons_childRaven spent the first part of the morning making certain there were no mechanical spiders still lurking in the stacks. She'd been surprised by a few yesterday, mainly because she couldn't sense them coming. And for the very same reason she couldn't affect them with her gifts. Her solution had been to take them inside her Soul-Self -- they weren't inherently evil, so Karla couldn't scold her, right? -- and teleport to an active volcano and drop them inside.
Fortunately, with the island moving, all the spiders seemed to be gone as well. Satisfied, she settled at the front desk with her laptop, checking email and browsing the web to distract herself from the urge to go out and explore the new surroundings Fandom found itself in. Plenty of time for that tomorrow.
