Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

After the insanity of the past few weeks, Zoe had been worried that something strange would happen today, like popcorn rain or an invasion of gremlins in snowsuits. But as everyone began setting up for the picnic, it became clear that this would be just another normal winter's day.

Normal for Fandom, at least, especially once people started getting shirtless. Zoe had learned not to trust that cold temperatures would prevent that sort of thing from happening.

To help the sensible people combat the chilly weather, there was a bonfire set up on the lawn, with benches set around it so people could sit and stay warm. Tables had been set up with hot food and drinks, and there was a stack of nametags set down next two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

It wasn't long before the food was ready, the bonfire was set, and the picnic was ready to begin!

Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, most of the benches had been set on the other side of the bonfire, where people could sit and talk without being in the line of traffic. There was, of course, a direct path back to the food tables, so no one would go hungry.

The benches in this section were a little further from the bonfire than the others. If people were sensible, they might want to keep all their clothes on over here, but Fandom, of course, has never been graced with an overabundance of sensible people.
