Mac was getting very, very into dusting the library today. It was a very useful coping mechanism, distraction.

Except that it wasn't really working all that well. She'd already decided that relationships sucked and people left. The two were not mutually exclusive. The more she thought about it, the faster her scrubbing motions got.

Must be that time of year.
