There was a large plate of jam thumbprints on the teacher's desk beside the sign-in sheet today. "Help yourselves," Steve instructed the class. "I promise none of them have bacon in them. So, I'd like you to enjoy your cookies, and write me an essay, and then I can turn you loose. It's been a pleasure having all of you in this class. The subject of your essay is: Why do you think art is such a universal constant? And what does that mean to you? Go."
