There were three exceptionally different items displayed on Glitch's desk today

"Well, hopefully most of you are getting close to being finished with your projects, and being finished with a project means it's time to name it," he said, grinning. Naming inventions was always fun.

"Today, all you need to do is think of a name for each of these inventions and then brainstorm on a name for your own invention once you're finished."

"Good morning, class.  I understand that this weekend was a holiday for many of you," Ghanima said, smiling.  "Hopefully you weren't too busy worshiping the false gods of candy and chocolate bunnies to get outside and enjoy some of the fresh air.  In light of the holiday, today we discuss the complex and often contentious relationship between religion and mythology from an academic stance."

"As your fun fact for today, The Dewey decimal system covers religion in the 200 range, with books on "Religious mythology & social theology" a tiny subset listed under 201.  While that may seem insignificant at first glance, your assignment for this week is to go to the library and browse the 200s.  Look and see what books are shelved there, and think about what that says about the current modern perception of religion and mythology on a subconscious level."

[Please wait for the OCD to go up!  Enjoy!]

Sam was on a bit of a sugar high this morning, in addition to being armed with his usual cup of coffee. Luckily, Dean was giving him space and alone time again, so only the books got to witness him being jittery as he set up for the day.

"Good afternoon!" Vala greeted the students as they entered from her customary spot perched on her desk. Noticeably absent would be any sleeping mats, blankets, and pillows, although there was a desk in the corner with glasses of apple juice and stacks of graham crackers. Some were even chocolate-covered. "I hope you've all had a much more peaceful weekend than the last one--I know I did. Anyway, there is a very, very important part of governing that we have not yet covered, and that would be diplomacy between nations, or between states."

"So, today I will split you into two groups. You both want the same piece of land, which is fertile, well-populated by happy, hard-working peaceful people, and conveniently located on multiple trade routes, as well as to both your nations. Your assignment will be to work out a peaceful solution that is hopefully satisfactory to both sides."

It wouldn't be, but they probably wouldn't know that yet. It was just the way compromises worked.

Today Deadpool had an assortment of weapons and odd baggies filled with powder on his desk.

Fake, of course.

Well... just don't try any of them, okay? That might be the best move with him.

"Today, yes I know I mentioned learning about felonies, but I got bored trying to write it. So! Today you all are going to learn to hide weapons and other paraphernalia when people are frisking you!"

No, he wasn't even going to bother adding any not dirties here.

"Split into groups of two and get crackin'! One will be the frisker and the other will be the friskee!"

Which reminded him to pick up food for Max...

"Good luck!"

This morning, Jean-Paul stood before his class, looking giddy as a freaking schoolgirl. "Today we are going to talk about stocks! And bonds!" Jean-Paul loved stocks and bonds. This might be kind of obvious. They had, after all, made him quite rich. "It is all actually quite simple."

He then proceeded to give an explanation that was approximately the opposite of simple and assumed the listener had about as much enthusiasm on the subject as he did. "Are there any questions?"

"There was kind of an important religious holiday on Sunday, huh?" Biff asked, passing out chocolate eggs and bunnies.

After all, Josh had said that there should be bunnies whenever bad things happened to him. Biff hadn't known someone else had written that down somewhere. Josh had been pretty drunk when he'd said it.

"So let's talk about my best friend, Joshua of Nazareth, founder of Christianity. I, um, missed the thing on the Sunday after the crucifixion, but I was there for everything leading up to it. Rather than lecturing at you, I figured it'd be easier if you asked questions and I answered them. I'll be dedicating a whole class to the apostles, so don't worry if you can't keep them all straight. And I have no idea what's going on with the Catholic Church now, or televangelists, or those stickers asking what Jesus would drive. If you want to know what he was really like, I can tell you that. If you want to know, you know, religion, um, ask the guy down at the church."
