There were papers on the desks when the students arrived today. "Good morning," said Steve, far too cheery for this early in the morning. "This is your midterm. Take your test and then..." he indicated a large platter on his desk. "Eat cookies. Or eat cookies while taking your test. You have a choice of chocolate chip, peanut butter, or bacon. No, I'm not crazy."

My Country - Period 3 - Friday

Yondaime sat at his desk wand waited for everyone to trickle in before he started. "Good Morning everyone. Today is the last class we have together before you present your countries to us and so today you're going to be working on and adding things to your country that make them unique and make people want to go there."

He got up off the desk and started walking around. "Each country has something to make them unique. Be it major cities like New York, sights to see like the pyramids, festivals, great food, so on and so forth. This class you're just deciding what those things are for your particular country that makes it unique."

"Next week is a break and the classes after you're all going to present your countries to us. I want you to include everything that we've covered so far and include a map of your country with as many details as you can include. After that, we'll start into the United Fandom Nations and the real fun can start."

Student Council Meeting - Friday Lunchtime

"Afternoon, everyone," Peter said, standing up once everyone was present.  "As you all know, Spring Break is next week.   But what I've been advised I can announce today - and I don't have all the details yet, but more will come - is that the school - and by extension us, Student Council, will be sponsoring a student trip to Mexico during Spring break.  We'll leave Wednesday morning and return to the school Sunday - in time for classes to start back up Monday morning."

He grinned.  "All the students will be able to sign up to go over the weekend or so, but you are can let as many people as you like know now."  He grew more serious.  "They'll be asking some of the teachers and administration to chaperone the group, but obviously everyone in Student Council is a leader in the school and should be setting a good example to the rest of the students with regards to behaviour - especially in what's a foreign country."

"Any questions you have now, I can try to answer, and there'll be more information about specifics over the weekend."

Karal's face was red with cold, his hair was definitely trying to revert to hobo status, and his nose was frozen.

This would be because he'd begun the day with an early morning ride, through the Preserve and down to the beach. The wind whipping off the ocean had been cold, and it had started to rain by the end, but it left him with a clear head and in an exceptionally good mood.

Once the library was open, he settled in with a pot of tea and indulged himself with a book that was just for fun.
