The music plays, the light show is even more fabulous than last week and Lorne leaps onto the stage to the delight of canned applause.

"Welcome to Music is Love! And despite the similarities I am not Randy Jackson. Dog. I am LORNE!"

More canned cheers.

"Thank you! Thank you! You're too kind. Today our theme is Punk Bubblegum in honor of our guests: Skank Zero Hopeless-Savage and Hannah Montana!"

Lorne settles down at the judges table, "C'mon kids. Show Fandom what you got."

Josh was mainlining coffee this morning. He didn't believe that caffeine really counted as a drug, and was hoping the assembly this afternoon wouldn't be teaching people otherwise.

Outside the classroom, a small herd of teal deer were making themselves comfortable.

Is Josh in love with the sound of his own voice? Is the Pope Catholic? )

He passed out copies of the Declaration of Independence. "Okay. I want you to go through the list of grievances that the colonies had with England and tell me the one that would make you the most cranky. Next week we're going to have a very exciting quiz on everything you've learned up until now."

Josh perched on his desk and waited for the first student to comment.

Rory wandered into the library bright and early on her brand-new day, her laptop under her arm and her iPod in her bag.

And the coffee tumbler nearly as big as Vladdie clutched frantically in her hand, of course.

"Good morning everyone." There was a pause, and then the muffled sound of weak toy wrangling before Zoe came back to the PA. "Ahem. This is a reminder to the following students that they need to report to detention tomorrow morning with Vice Principal Hades:

Zuko
Molly Hayes
Blair Sandburg
Professor Deadpool

There was another pause as Zoe seemed to be shuffling papers. "Huh, that detention slip actually looks valid. Sorry, Professor. In addition, our detention lottery winners are Dick Casablancas, Billy Kessler, Naomi Wildman, and Sam Winchester. Apologies to all of you as well. And for the record, none of the detentions from last night's radio broadcast are valid. But nice try.

"I'd also like to remind everyone that we have our first assembly of the semester this afternoon, and it covers a highly important topic, so I'd recommend that all of you attend. And that's all I've got for you. Thank you."

Today the Danger Shop wasn't set up like a classroom, it was set up like a room with chairs and viewing windows into three different rooms.

"Good morning. Today's lesson is about identifying your suspects. Identifying suspects requires observation and deduction skills. You observe the crime scene, find evidence left behind including witness testimony and then piece the puzzle together." Thursday wrote the following on the portable whiteboard behind her.

* Means
* Motive
* Opportunity

"When looking for suspects, you should consider these three things. After all, the culprit will need all three to have committed the crime. When dealing with normal criminals, this part is easy. When dealing with villains, the 'motive' may be 'because it was a day ending with Y'. Every situation is different, so I won't try to explain theories here. Let's try something something hands-on to get you thinking outside the box.

When you step through the door - you can go by yourself or with a partner or two - you are a villain for the duration of your time in that room. The room will transform itself into a new environment and there will be a valuable to steal. Think like a villain. Act like a villain. You have the opportunity, so figure out your means and motive and go to it."
