First Aid, Tuesday Morning, 6/13
Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 10:08 amElliot looked slightly preoccupied as the students filed in, but she managed a smile.
"Hi! Okay, we were supposed to cover the nervous system today, but can I say one thing first? I helped out a little on Saturday, and I wasn't expecting to see you guys needing to put this stuff into practice so soon. If you ever need a doctor, want a doctor, can't get to the clinic, call me or come by my apartment. No questions asked. You were just lucky you didn't get hurt worse, and that Vice Principal Pierce and I were around. And if you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, ignore this whole shpiel.
Anyhow. The nervous system is kind of the control center of your body. It's your brain, your spinal cord, and all the nerves that run through your body. The important things to worry about are fainting or concussion, seizure -- fits -- and head injury.
( And away we go. )

Documentaries 101 (Workshop #4) - A/V Room, Tuesday Morning
Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 10:34 amBack in the A/V room for today, Jay was once being vaguely obscene in the back of the room with some spools of wire. Silent Bob was loftily ignoring him. He had his whiteboard back, but before going on with the teaching he held up a calendar. And because it was Jay and Silent Bob, it was the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition calendar, which Bob hurriedly realised and flipped the picture down. He pointed at today's date, then counted down the remaining weeks to July 11, which was circled in bright red. He then wrote on the board,
SHOWCASE!
Invite your friends. We'll bring popcorn.
Calendar set to the side - and then hurriedly snatched up by Jay, who was rapidly getting bored of this whole teaching thing - Silent Bob got down to business. The topic of the day was,

Library [06/13]
Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 01:36 pmRory opened the library on the wrong day, for the short period of time after morning workshops but before those of the afternoon. She hoped people would forgive her for it and come in anyway.
She lounged behind the desk, wishing for a fan and making notes of who she should contact for the newspaper thing.
[Yes, should've been up yesterday. No, I have absolutely no good excuse other than that I forgot. *deserves to be flogged or something* No OCD threads, so play at will]

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 01:59 pm
[Roster]
Xander is standing in front of the unlit campfire holding up a book in the hand that doesn't have splinted fingers. He's being careful not to get soot on it because yo, Tev'Meckian/English Dictionary. In hardback.
"Hi, my name's Xander and I'm a geek. I'm sure that revelation totally gasts your flabber. But despite the huge pains I take to hide that fact, I felt I should confess it for the good of all, since sometimes it comes in handy to be a geek."
He coughs, then says in a gravelly voice, ( By the hammer of Grabthar... )
[OCD threads up! Gibber away. ]
