Zordon? Definitely annoyed this morning. More than annoyed. Possibly enraged. Can you tell from the voice, though? Not so much, but it might leak through a bit, yes.

"Good morning, students, or not so good morning as the case may be. Yes, the standoff with the washers and dryers continues, possibly aggravated by certain students' attempts to take matters into their own hands. The fifth floor doors appear to have accepted our terms, though one or two of them may not have been informed of this yet. Negotiations in the laundry room are still taking place, and any progress made will be reported to you as it develops. We have, however, received yet another ransom note today."

Really, you can almost hear the collective groaning from both Zordon and Alpha 5.

"We, the correction implements of Fandom High, feel that we have been taken for granted for far too long. We object to students recording everything on the page or the screen so quickly and having to correct much of what they write, a circumstance which taxes us to the extreme. This must not continue, and in order to stand up for our rights we are on strike as of this morning. It is our recommendation that students think about what they want to express before they express it. And make it funny.."

"Zordon?"

A distinguishable sigh. "Yes, Alpha?"

"I hope no one still has finals to do today!"

There's that burst of ancient intergalactic obscene babble again. "For those of you who still have finals or final papers to complete, please, please, please proceed with caution. We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience. Thank you, and attempt to have a nice day. Fake it if you have to. And please remember that going to class in a towel is preferable to going to class in one's underwear."

If you didn't have a chance to play with the fifth-floor doors yesterday, you still can; otherwise, feel free to assume your door is back to normal.

"This is my last session of this class at Fandom High, and, as some of you know, I will not return in the fall. It has truly been my pleasure and my gift to watch you learn; I can only hope you will carry a bit of this class with you for all your future days."

"You may leave once you turn in your handwavey final projects, or you may use this session to talk to me or to each other, as you wish. I already have papers from Mr. Anders, Ms. Weir and Ms. Fraiser."

Dream stands before the class, arms folded, Matthew perched on his shoulder.

"This is my very last class at Fandom High, and it is not without regret that I take my leave. I know this class was difficult for many of the humans among you; thank you for being open to other languages, other creatures, other cultures. I hope it will prove useful, or at least interesting, as your lives progress."

"After you turn in your final projects, you may leave, or talk to me or to each other."

Dream went to close the classroom door at that point, and Matthew hopped onto his desk; in sotto voce Raven, the bird added, //Thanks for listening to my boss. I think you guys made him pretty happy. He'll miss you.//

Overhearing some of this, Dream fixed him with a glare, but his lips quirked into a slight smile.

Not having ACJ to go to, Rory actually opened the library on time for once.

Which wasn't all that helpful, anyway, since she was mostly asleep still.

Daniel's almost finished with marking the anthropology papers. He got slightly distracted after a visit yesterday.


Will there be any distracting visits today? Who knows?

Phoebe is sitting on the desk and when everyone signs in and is seated, she starts passing out the finals.

"15 true or false, 20 multiple choice, and one essay question."

She returns to the front and lifts the screen to reveal the essay question:
