The announcements are made promptly, ten minutes before first period. Even if Zordon is a little bit on edge today, you can't tell. You can't.

"Good morning, and happy Friday. The following teenagers with attitude will report to the Danger Shop for detention tomorrow: Jaye Tyler and Peter Parker."

No, that wasn't a slightly evil chuckle you heard. Zordon's not evil.

"In other news, paper clips all around campus are forming conga lines through the hallways today. Join in if you wish, but take care not to let your clothes get snagged. This may or may not be a ghost-related incident; either way, it appears to be completely harmless. Thank you."

It was entirely possible that Janet was sleepwalking as she opened up the library today.

"Hope you've all brought your bills with you for class discussion," Josh said when the Government class was seated.

"Pretend you are Senators from your home states. If you're not from this country, um, pretend that you're from Illinois. Because things need to play well in Peoria, right?" He laughed.

Yes, he's an enormous dork. Moving on.

"Ask question of the bill's sponsor--decide if this is something that your voters would support. Heck, you're the elected representative of them--decide if it's something you support."

He grinned. "And in keeping with the rules of the Senate, no name calling or hair-pulling. Long and boring speeches are encouraged."

He sat down and pointed at random to a student. "Let's get started. Wow me."

"Good morning," Rita said with a smile. "Today, I'm going to give you your assignments for your final, which will be due the 28th of April. What you'll be expected to do is find someone on campus who you find interesting, and conduct an interview. You will give me your interview questions for review beforehand, but I expect them to get progressively more intrusive, as we've discussed in class. You will document where and if your subject becomes uncomfortable. And from this interview, you will write a one hundred word article."

She smiled. "Questions? You may leave if you have none. And Callistie and Alex? I'll need you for a special assistant duty this evening."

"All right," Rita said. "Today, you'll simply get your assignments for your final."

She smiled. "Your final this term which I have blatantly ripped off from the amazing Spider Jerusalem of last term will be to interview a student on this campus. You have the option of going off-campus as part of the interview process - seeing their home, that is. And you will be expected to photograph this trip. This will be expected to be a large, well-done project, due April the 28th, which is why I'm telling you so far in advance. Questions? You may leave if you have none."

"Okay, um, people who own me work because they were sick? Turn it and present please. Both classes will be working on some problems today.

Begginers:
1. What is the difference between the sum of the first 2003 even counting numbers and the sum of the first 2003 odd counting numbers?
2. What is the probability that a randomly drawn positive factor of 60 is less than 7?
3. What is the maximum number for the possible points of intersection of a cirlce and a triangle?

Intermediate:
1. A solid box is 15cm by 10cm by 8cm. A new solid is formed by removing a cube 3cm on a side from each corner of this box. What percent of the original volume is removed?
2. It takes Mary 30 minutes to walk uphill 1km from her home to school, but it takes her only 10 minutes to walk from school to home along the same route. What is her average speed, in km/hr, for the round trip?
3. The sum of two numbers is S. Suppose 3 is added to each number and then each of the resulting numbers is double. What is the sum of the final two numbers?

If you have any questions or problems, wave me down. Have at it!"

[OOC: Answers will go up in the OOC thread as soon as I solve the problems. Someone stole my answer booklet. All problems are from either AMC10 - 2003 or 2001.]

Today, Zhaan was wearing a simple grey robe that swept the floor (covering the bunny slippers), in her hands were pruning shears. In front of her was an over-grown, bulky thing.

"At times, you will find your plant growing too bulky." Her tone was carefully crisp, "Unlike most creatures, plants do notice when they lose things like leaves and twigs. But they are, at times, the better for it. And one must, in the end, cut back on the sheer amount of plant."

Caressing one of the gnarled branches, Zhaan smiled, "This won't hurt much, my dear." She snipped it off and set it to the side, quickly dealing with several other hanging pieces that were obstructing healthy growing. Then she glanced at the class. "You must be careful how much you cut. Be wise in your decision and leave room for the plant to expand. If there are too many branches, the whole will collapse inwards unhealthily."

Setting the shears down, she reached for the small pot to the side, bringing it forward and carefully poking a finger into it. "Depending on the nature of the plant you've cut, you can then transfer the cut pieces to grow their own roots."

Two of the twigs slid in neatly and she tamped the soil gently around them. "Be certain to water them, but not too much. And, as always, ascertain how they are by listening."

Dusting her hands, she looked at the class, "I hope you all have a lovely weekend."

[Sorry for the lateness, I started dinner and got sidetracked finishing a desktop... MY UNDYING LOVE to Nick Fury of Sages of Chaos for giving me something to write about.]
