Into the Black (Flight hanger, 1pm)
Sunday, February 19th, 2006 12:46 pmAnakin gave a final twist to a bolt on the flight simulator before the rest of the club arrived.
"Sorry it's taken me so long to get us back together," he said, scuffing his boot against the concrete floor. "Today I've set us up for combat runs in an Earth-based airplane called an F-117. Those of you who have gotten used to non-gravity based flight need to remember to factor the Earth's gravity into your spins and turns. You won't be able to bank as quickly, either."
He pointed to a sheet of paper on a nearby table. "If you could give me a rundown of ships you'd like to play around on, I'd really appreciate it. I was thinking this semester we could expand into capital ships instead of just one or two-man ships, maybe bring in some guest lecturers on tactics and that kind of stuff."
He gave them all a small smile. "But for today, I figured blowing up fake things might make us all feel better."
