The Vice Principal's Announcements - January 13

Hawkeye took the microphone and cleared his throat. "Ladies, gentlemen and tentacled beings of no particular persuasion. Lend me your ears! This is your Vice Principal speaking.

The mixer dance is tonight. I'll be chaperoning, along with some of your favorite faculty faces from around campus, so don't even think about spiking the punch before I get there.

Those who have detention, don't forget to attend tomorrow or you may find your dorm room stripped and filled with non-descript gelatinous goo. It's a pain to get out, so I don't advise that you try the administration's patience.

Don't forget that if you're going away for the weekend, you lucky fools, to request a weekend pass from the office.

Don't forget to have all of your vaccinations done at the clinic. You never know what you could catch around here.

School toilet paper is not a decorative item. Privately bought toilet paper, on the other hand..." Hawkeye cleared his throat. "There are no other announcements. In fact, these announcements were superfluous, but I wanted to use the microphone.

Have a fantastically freaky Friday the 13th. Pay attention to the special notice posters on the walls and I'll see you all tonight. Tata!"

“Students are expected to sign in,” Rita said. As soon as Quinn and Barbossa took their seats, Rita set a pile of writing materials on the former’s desk, and nine pairs of dragonhide gloves, as well as nine tiny nets, on latter’s.
 
“Boys and girls, it seems you’ve been naughty this week,” Rita said disapprovingly, addressing the whole class. “So until midnight tonight, you’re all going to be staying here. And you’ll be doing punishments to fit the crimes and according to my whims, really. And since there are only two students in here who seemingly did not cause mischief to ear this detention - Mr. Barbossa and Ms. Morgendorffer - they will be my Special Helpers for the day. That means, Special Helpers - if you see someone misbehaving, let me know immediately.”
