Written on the blackboard:

LAST CLASS -- Please hand in your final projects

There is a basket on Dream's desk to collect the papers; next to it sits another basket, full of red-and-green wrapped candy canes and Christmas chocolates. Dream is not visible, but a large raven is perched on his desk, watching over the students. When a paper is turned in, he inspects it with shiny eyes and seems to caw his approval.

[Professor Chaucer is again sitting quietly at his desk. He looks pretty much the same as he did yesterday, although possibly a little more worn.]

Welcome to your final poetry class of the term. I want to tell all of you how much I've enjoyed this class. Teaching it has been an incredible experience, and you have all been a joy to get to know. I wish you all well during your holiday and with whatever you move on to next term.

[Final Project] Please present your sestina to the class, and then hand in the written copy before leaving today. Final grades will be posted tonight.

[OOC: I'm against a deadline, folks. I need your projects posted here no later than midnight tonight EST. Grades will go up at some ungodly hour after that. It's been fun, guys! Thank you!]

Professor Chaucer is in his office briefly again today. He has his head laid down on his desk. If you want to talk to him, be nice.

Jenny opens up the last study hall of the semester and scatters candy canes over the tables for any student that wants them.

"Nollaig chridheil dhuibh," Camulus says. "Today's the final class, so I procured a movie to watch," he waves the tape around a bit, "You don't have to stay if you don't wish to. Come and see me for your grades." With that, he sits down and pops in 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'

[[Camulus is sticking around over the holidays, but if you aren't, Merry Christmas, happy holidays, Happy New Year, and everything else I could possibly wish you.]]

[ooc: Yes, it should have been posted yesterday, but we were having power fluxuations *rolls eyes* Which is always fun. Same drill as the other classes; please could you let me know your grade based on a 40/40/20 of midterm/final/classwork ratio]

It's the same all over again, except this time, the two questions are based on what little Greco archaeology was studied.

Daniel looks like he's marking other people's finals at the front; but he's still keeping one watchful eye on the room.

Jenny posts a list of the final grades, and also e-mails them to her students.

She attaches a note stating that if you did not turn in the final project by midnight on December 20th, you have received an incomplete and therefore have failed the class, regardless of what letter grade is posted next to the incomplete marking.

Then she spends some time in her office, preparing her lesson plans for next term and available for any questions that her students might have.

All of Charlie's presents are wrapped and ready to be given to people. They are standing proudly (and misshaped) on Charlie's desk, while Charlie is sitting on the floor, sorting through class attendance and exams and grades one final time. He's waiting for the Advanced class to stop by with their project report.

Janet runs in, opens the library, and seems very distracted today.

Though he's still in Richmond (and has now slept in a chair three nights running, which is not good for his back), you may slide your projects under the Doctor's door. He'll be back tomorrow to get them and do the fastest grading known to man.

V. Cally
J. Crichton

((As a reminder: I'm not looking for actual essays here. Just refresh my memory as to what the subject is and tell me what your character found out. Also tell me if it proves the point well, and how well-written it is. Post your responses here. Thanks.))

Dream has posted preliminary grades for his students on his office door.

He's in the office, so come in and argue about the grades if you must.

Grades behind here. Grades marked as incomplete are for students who have not turned in final projects. )
