Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

The snowmen are getting close now. They start to yell as they approach. Some are throwing snow and ice balls at the defenders.

Fraser's made it outside the gym and immediately is grateful to be wearing the Sam Browne's. Red against the snow wouldn't be too helpful.

It worked over at Logan's house. Only this time Angel's got a lot more supplies on hand.

He takes stakes that he's soaked in lighter fuel, lights them, and starts throwing them at the monsters.

Deb and Carl, each armed with a blaster, take up position on the lines and wait.

"Bullets aren't going to do it are they, Debbie?" Carl asks.

"They sure aren't. Fucking zombies, now snow monsters. Some kind of town."

"You love it," Carl says, stealing a kiss before the chaos hits.

Peter, wearing a ski mask in a vain attempt to protect keep his powers secret while still doing some good, arrived late and saw the battle going on.

He lept and threw a kick at the nearest snowman's head. It popped off. "Huh. That's weird."

One weird looking snowman with two heads lurches (well, as much as a snowman can be said to lurch) around the corner. He is followed be several normal looking snow men.

No one had seen Artie since the troopers had left him to head to the school the night before.

But as the army of snow monsters came up to the school, Artie bounded across the lawn after them.

"Halt foul frozen freaks! I will not let you hurt the children!"

After stopping at room 238 to change, Logan ran out to the front of the dorms with his blowtorch.

Four new snow...things come out of the trees. They are white, they are icy...

They are armed.

Out of their adorableicy ray guns, then shoot a powerful stream of ice and snow.

Better move fast.

Sakura wanders out of the dorms a little belatedly. She's not entirely sure what kind of help will be needed -- if any at all. But she figures she'll offer what she can.

Having heard the announcement, and having realized that it wasn't a joke, Daniel grabbed a zat (and made a quick stop at the weapons locker) and headed out to join the fight.

Sam staggered back towards the dorms, trying to keep an eye out for dancing advancing snow monsters, but having some difficulty. If she ever found out who threw that coffee cup...

Vala managed to get the door open and climb out onto the roof. She could shoot a Zat just fine one-handed, and she wouldn't have to wade through snow to do it.

Pippi arrived outside the clinic loaded down verbare (or however you spell that).

She was also carrying a bag of the hard booze that had been smuggled up from the bar... She wasn't sure if it was okay that she took it... But if it was a problem, she didn't think she'd have trouble paying for it... If she was still around to pay that is.

Fighting snowmen? Sounded like fun... but also not.

Rory took a quick gulp of coffee before grabbing a pot of oil and flinging it at the monsters.

It dribbled across the snow, missing most of them. Her aim was still bad.

She watched happily as a nice splash of oil hit a snowman straight in the...head.
