Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

Sam fired her zat at the snowman running towards Shep, but her vision blurred and a lot of the shots went wild.

She blacked out for a minute and fell forward, catching herself on her arm. "Shep! Daniel! I'm out. I'll be at the clinic."

A snow shark, its teeth recently regrown, was waiting for her.

It aimed for her right ankle.

And icy teeth? Hurt like a son of a bitch.

Sam screamed as it latched onto her ankle and pulled her feet out from under her.

She sent her left foot, booted, directly into the spot between the shark's eyes and fired her zat at point blank range.

The shark exploded in a flurry of flakes.

"Well done," Shep says limping towards her. "Aren't we the pair? Between the two of us we have two good legs... maybe we can help each other to medical?"

Sam scrambled to her feet and made her way as fast as she could back to the dorms. She wouldn't be able to do any more good out there, and she knew it.
