Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

Grinning, Bel headed outside, fireballs ready.

Pippi arrived outside the clinic loaded down verbare (or however you spell that).

She was also carrying a bag of the hard booze that had been smuggled up from the bar... She wasn't sure if it was okay that she took it... But if it was a problem, she didn't think she'd have trouble paying for it... If she was still around to pay that is.

Fighting snowmen? Sounded like fun... but also not.

Anakin might be a little too excited about getting to be able to kill things today.

But at least he's not evil like last time. So he's counting it as a win.

"Guess we should spread out, take cover and wait, huh?"

He looked down at his dark cloak. "Because I'm not exactly blending in with the snow."

Vala managed to get the door open and climb out onto the roof. She could shoot a Zat just fine one-handed, and she wouldn't have to wade through snow to do it.

"What's in the bag, Pippi?" Victor asked as they took their positions

Bel looked down at his usual black on black and chuckled. "Yeah, me too. What are these things doing, throwing snowballs, magic, what?"

Jack comes up with the first fifteen loads of pots, fuel and oil to boil.

Walter looked around. All he knew was that he was looking for "snow monsters," whatever those were.

He started thinking about how to incorporate his wires into gloves that would actually cover his fingers instead of leaving them bare. This part sort of sucked.

Cordy followed Vala and stepped out onto the roof, taken aback slightly by the cold. "Man, it's freezing out here," she said, getting ready to shoulder the crossbow.

"Liquer... Very flamible."

She tucked a long thin bottle of vodka into her belt.

"This maybe a stupid question but... Hey, anybody got a liter?"

Buffy was also wearing black. "Well, at least we won't hit each other with friendly fire."

Pippi looked up from her "bar inna bag".

"Hey Walter, how many lighters do you have and can you use one with your wires?"

"Alright, let's kick some ass." Tex smirked as she moved out of the gym and loaded her assault rifle.

Anakin frowned. "I don't think the angry swearing woman said. Something about snow monsters and reforming after being shot, so I'm guessing there's something magical too them."

He took his lightsaber from his belt with a grim smile. "But I bet they'll melt."

Cameron wondered why on Earth he picked the team with the armoured chick who had tried to kill John for talking.

Honestly, it wasn't like Zoe owned anything that wasn't a dark color. "That's a plus, especially considering the firepower some of you had," she said, directing a look at Bel.

"You're not kidding," Vala agreed, moving over to the edge and trying to find a place to settle in. "You don't think they'll throw anything back, do you? I mean, I'm thinking we'll be safe up here."

Lee hauls ass up the stairs to the roof with a long-range sniper weapon in his hands.

Jack comes up with the second fifteen loads. He's raided the trash cans and dumpsters for burnable stuff. "Hey, Vala!"
