Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

Walter looked around. All he knew was that he was looking for "snow monsters," whatever those were.

He started thinking about how to incorporate his wires into gloves that would actually cover his fingers instead of leaving them bare. This part sort of sucked.

Pippi looked up from her "bar inna bag".

"Hey Walter, how many lighters do you have and can you use one with your wires?"

"I only carry one at a time, but this one is fully fueled." Walter finished his cigarette and lit a fresh one before passing the zippo-style lighter to Pippi.

"I have never tried lighting it with my wires, but I could strike a spark off metal easily enough."

Pippi looked around.

"Victor? Can you get up on the wall there or is it to cold?"

She rummiged around in the bag.

"How about matches? Can you light matches?" She triumphantly held a few boxes of matches aloft.

"Maybe we can douse them with the flammible stuff and light them on fire to melt them?"

Pippi quickly distributs matches and at least one bottle of booze to everybody.

Then chucks a granade at the lead beast.

"I got one." Han tosses her the hotwire lighter from Endemion that he uses on his cigarettes. "No fuel, sealed power."

He snaps off a shot at an encroaching snowbeast.

"That'll work." she smiled.

"The big cranky metal lady said something about them reforming if you shoot them, so I'm thinking you have to melt them... Maybe?"

He shoots another that goes down mostly melted.
