Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

Cordy followed Vala and stepped out onto the roof, taken aback slightly by the cold. "Man, it's freezing out here," she said, getting ready to shoulder the crossbow.

"You're not kidding," Vala agreed, moving over to the edge and trying to find a place to settle in. "You don't think they'll throw anything back, do you? I mean, I'm thinking we'll be safe up here."

"Um. Snowballs maybe? Or would that be like throwing their own limbs? I heard something about tentacles. You don't think they'd be that long, right?" She is no way trying to reassure herself.
