Monster attack
Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.
They begin making their way toward the buildings.
[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

Re: Outside the clinic
But snow monsters can't sing. So they're not.
But they would.
Re: Outside the clinic
But she can't... So she does.
Is she also still gasping for air?
Pretty much yeah.
She rolls over and holds her toarch up out of the snow, but keeps trying to catch her breath.
Re: Outside the clinic
"Pippi! he yelled.
Re: Outside the clinic
And really, it's kinda sad that she now knows how snow monsters ought to behave.
Re: Outside the clinic
"Just not used to that is all."

With the adrenaline and endorphins wearing off, he's starting to really feel his wrist.
And not feel his bare fingers.
"Let's get Pippi inside. They had medical care set up in the gym last night."
Re: Outside the clinic
Had she not been dropping, it might have caught her somewhere much more important to her continued survival.
Re: Outside the clinic
One, two, three were swatted away, before a fourth one ripped through the sticky appendage, severing it.
Viotor cried out in pain, and cried out again as he took an icicle in the shoulder.

Re: Outside the clinic
There might be a few last snowballs flung halfheartedly in their direction, but only as part of the dance routine. Really.
Re: Outside the clinic
Cursing himself for relaxing, Walter spun around and dealt with the next icicle barrage, sending shards of ice flying as they were cut out of the air until Walter mastered deflecting them without shattering them.
"Get down and watch your eyes!"
"Pippi! I need help for Victor and Nadia!"
Re: Outside the clinic
"You okay, Victor?" Yeah, dumb question, but she'd just seen the poor kid's tongue get severed. She wanted something resembling a response so she knew he wasn't getting shocky.
Re: Outside the clinic
"Nadia? Can you pick locks?"
Re: Outside the clinic
Re: Outside the clinic
"Come on."

Fuck, it hurt. He could feel his tongue swell in his mouth as his mutant power activated and it repaired itself, but it still fucking hurt! His shoulder was worse, and he winced as the icicle dug into his flesh as he was moved.
Re: Outside the clinic
He knelt next to his boyfriend and divided his attention between Victor and the snowmen, which seemed to be done attacking.
"Don't try to talk. Just nod if you're in there." He didn't bother asking if he was okay. That was a pretty dim question. Conscious and able to communicate was a good start.
