Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

"Gotya," Victor said, leaping to the wall. Ordinarily, he'd probably be freezing, but the unstable molecules in his uniform kept him warm. "Here, have a drink!" he called, taking a bottle of booze out of the bag and chucking it at the nearest snow beast.

[ooc: Sorry this is so delayed. LJ is SO sucking right now!]

One snowman gets splattered with Johnny Walker Blue Label and starts to list slightly to one side in its inevitable lurch towards the defenders.

"Got one!" he cried as he readied another bottle. "Burn it now!"

He chucked another bottle, this time Bacardi Silver.

One snow monster reached out to deflect the bottle of Bacardi -- unfortunately, right into a fellow snow monster's chest.

"Yes!" Victor exclaimed. "If we don't melt them, we'll at least make 'em drunk!" He laughed, and used his free hand to grab his laser and shoot the monster.

Pippi digs up another dirt clod, strikes another match, and let's fly at Bacardi Silver.

It would be a sad waste of good liquor in any other situation, but it was sacrificed in a good cause. The lit match strikes dead on in the middle of the rum-soaked patch of the snow monster's chest and sets it ablaze. It's brief but spectacular, really, until it ends with a pathetic sizzle.

"It's working!" yelled Pippi happily. Now if they could just avoid running out of bottles.

Pippi scrambles back to the wall of the Clinic where there had been plants growing.

She manages to dig up a good sized dirt clod, lights a match, sticks it in the clod and lobs it at Johnny Walker Blue.

The snow monster sizzles and melts. There might even have been a single emo tear at the sad waste of JW Blue.

No, really, it was in a good cause, but still. JW Blue.

Pippi would pour a 40 for the lost JW Blue... But she would rather smash the 40 on another monster and light it on fire.

We all grieve in our own ways.
