Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

"Ninja snowmen? Come on!" Peter sighed and rushed in with spider-kicks.

It was a little bit frightening, but they fought with expert timing!

And Peter dodged with spider-reflexes as his spider-sense alerted him to their timed attacks.

And then he spider-punched the spider-hell out of a couple snowmonster heads.

Heads rolled, but arms and legs kept flailing about with no real effect.

Enough of those limbs managed to connect for Peter to have to retreat to a tree. He tried broke off a few relatively dry branches and lit them on fire. The flames weren't too great, but they'd have to do.

He began throwing the branches at the army.

Cameron wondered why he felt like humming at while he tried to dodge the iceballs. At least he was staying warm.

Tex wondered if the snowmen had a choreographer as she continued to slash away.

Suddenly, the song changes the the snowmen form up in a line and fling snowballs as they dance.

Everybody conga!

There was one thing that was fun about lines. Tex charged at the head of them and used all her speed and weight as she dove right in.

Snow flies everywhere as Tex charges through half of the line, before the rest of the snowmen wise up and break off.

Peter lept down with a flaming branch and began swinging at any snowman in his range. The flame actually took a little while before it burned out.

Tex is now a white spartan, but she's still a spartan. "Take that you tango dancing fucktards," she growls and does the spartan dance with energy sword.

Tex throws a grenade at a bunch of attacking snowmen and then runs off, disappearing from the schoolgrounds.

"Dude, it can't have snowed this much." Cameron was back to using his P-90 on the dance crazy snowmen.

After regrouping, the snowmen start moonwalking across the snow. The slip and slide across the powder. Damn, they have some style!

Aeryn sighs and seriously debates giving them money.

One snowman holds out a tip jar and a card that says, "We do parties."

Aeryn blinks, puts her weapons back into their holsters, and reaches for something else strapped to her leg.

She pushes the button, and throws the grenade into the tip jar.

"Okay, now you're just being ridiculous," Peter said, jumping toward them, swinging his branch. "Moonwalking? My God, if you start doing the YMCA..."

As Kara comes around, the first thing she notices is that her clothes are soaked through. She wonders how long she's been lying in the snow.
Kara picks up her gun, and shakily stands up, trying to ignore the horrible pounding in her head.

Cameron belatedly realises that Kara was down and cursing moves up beside her, firing away at the snowmonsters. "You alright?"

Kara wavers on her feet in front of him. "Yeah, yeah," she mutters, rubbing her forehead. "Should get back into it."

"Nah huh," Cameron sticks close beside her, not grabbing hold for her but ready to do so if she needs it. "You were out, I'm no doctor but I do know that's bad."

Kara takes a step forward, but has to reach out a hand to steady herself on Cam's shoulder as the world suddenly goes topsy-turvy.
