Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

Cameron belatedly realises that Kara was down and cursing moves up beside her, firing away at the snowmonsters. "You alright?"

Kara wavers on her feet in front of him. "Yeah, yeah," she mutters, rubbing her forehead. "Should get back into it."

"Nah huh," Cameron sticks close beside her, not grabbing hold for her but ready to do so if she needs it. "You were out, I'm no doctor but I do know that's bad."

Kara takes a step forward, but has to reach out a hand to steady herself on Cam's shoulder as the world suddenly goes topsy-turvy.

Cameron lowers his gun and quickly wraps an arm around Kara. "Alright, I got you. We're going inside."

"Probably a good idea," she says, leaning on Cam and shivering.

"Aeryn!" Cameron calls out as he starts pulling back, firing as much as he can without letting go of Kara. "I'm taking Kara inside."
