Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

"Dammit," Cordy curses. She kneels down and leans further forward, being careful to avoid the pans of boiling oil. She leans out as far as she feels comfortable and fires two bolts in as quick a succession as possible, hoping for at least some effect this time, though she was starting to think that anything other than boiling oil might be futile.

She actually blasts a big hole in the chest of the snowman she targeted. It slows him down a little, but mostly seems to just make him mad.
