Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

"Thank you kindly," Fraser says, loading the gun and scanning the almost white landscape. "Has there been any sign of anything yet?"

"You should get some glasses to go with that gun," Tex sneered. Not happy with the effect of her rifle, she threw it at Fraser and got out her energy sword.

"Let's see how they like this." She jumped at the nearest snowman and hacked the energy blade into his body, the heat having a nice effect. "Now we're talking."
