Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

Maia ran towards one of the snowman smashing a water balloon of hot water and salt in his face. "Walter" She called out hurrying to push some water balloons to him. "here, they have salt in them."

The snowman reeled back momentarily, his stick arms flailing dangerously near Maia. There was a melted, gaping hole in his face now that would have been comical looking except for the fact that he now seemed more enraged than anything else.

Pippi runs up with a bottle of Glenfiddic (Don't worry, it's only 18 year old, not fit for drinking).

In the hops of smashing the bottle on the icy tube that now makes up the center of the thing's head, she swings hard.

Maia stumbles back and falls into the snow breathing hard. "He- Oh God Pippi.." Maia hurries to stand back up, in her fist she has rock salt, tossing it on the remains of the snowman she thanks Pippi and hurries to get more balloons to distribute.

Once Maia is safely away, Pippi gives the Glenfiddic a proper Viking burial...

She sets it on fire.

Maia's mouth fell slightly open as she watched it light up. "Brilliant" She said smiling at Pippi.

Walter caught the bottle that Victor threw him (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/572795.html?thread=27364731#t27364731) and threw it at one of the snowmen in a single motion, turning to grab the balloons away from Maia and start throwing them, taking care to try to get more than one monster with each balloon, at least with splatter.

Victor aimed carefully and shot the snowman Walter had just hit, hoping that the laser would ignite the alcohol. because it's EVERCLEAR! just touching it would ignite that stuff!

Because Everclear + superheated laser fire = fabulous conflagration, Victor's shot was rewarded by a brief blaze of flame and a hiss of steam.

Everclear one, snowman ZERO!

"Well..that was cool," Victor commented, and looked through the much-lighter alcohol bag to see if he had another bottle of the potent liquor. There was only one more that he saw, but he decided to save it just in case. Instead, he focused on shooting any snow beasts that he thought had alcohol on them.

The unfortunate snowman victim took the Everclear in the middle of the torso.

The ones struck with water balloons took more of a beating and staggered, their snow bodies pitted with holes where the balloons exploded. Bits of balloon now decorated their bodies in random patterns where the ice froze back over and stuck them in place.

"The balloons are brilliant! Maia, do you have more?"

He tried a different tack, not knowing if the snowmen cared about their bodies or not, he threw loops of wire over a cluster of three snowmen and pulled the wire tight enough to restrain, but not cut.

If the snowmen fought it hard enough, they'd cut themselves to pieces without his doing anything. Or they could be tied up. He supposed it was up to them.

Maia nodded "Yeah just inside the clinic door." Maia said as she ran to go get the other bag. Less then two minutes later she was back with a bag full again. "Here" She said out of breath, the bags of balloons were heavy. "I have rock salt too, in my backpack, if they get to close to you, shove it in there faces." She went to her bag and brought Walter a baggie of it. "You have to get in close enough though if your going to use it."

Walter tucked the rock salt inside his waistcoat and took the bag of balloons and set it as his feet. "Thanks, Maia. Good thinking."

Maia nodded and hurried to see if Han needed anymore Balloons.

A group of water baloons flew past them, headed for some snow beasts.

Walter shook his head and pulled his wires free of the three snowmen he'd restrained, throwing balloons at them in rapid succession instead.
