Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

The snow monster aliens spot another new target. Slowly and quietly, they aim their blasters and shoot twin rays of freezing water towards him.

John's hit with the water and his coat is immediately wet and heavy. And he's shivering. Dammit.

He fires Aeryn's pulse weapon towards the snow monsters but his hand is shaking so he might miss mostly.

The pulse blast strikes one snow monster alien and he explodes into oblivion. The other? Gets pissed that his friend's just been killed. So, another blast of freezing water towards John's chest.

John hits the ground, shivering now. He manages to get one more shot off to explode the other snow monster before ducking behind the roof's ledge for cover.

The snow alien arcs his gun, sending a rain of freezing water towards John's head.
