Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

Barely missing Cam, the Doctor's heated claymore slashes a snowalien in half. Ten barely notices, fighting like he's crazed, ducking the fire branches just enough to cleave right down the pieces of alien vertically.

"Whoa, student here! I know I look cold," Cameron remarks and moves to the side a bit. He only belatedly noticed the snowman charging up at him. An icy tentacle lashes out and cuts into his cheek. Gritting his teeth, Cameron pushes the burning branch right into the monsters chest.

The cries become louder now as their brothers and sisters are slashed. From the back, a giant monster comes forward.

"You're frelling kidding me. Where did it come from?" Aeryn grumbles, and quickly changes the cartridge to her pulse rifle to start shooting again.

It takes a good few seconds before Ten looks up. "Merciful mother of God..."

And the fur wrapped around his sword burns itself out.

"Oh, great." Peter lit and threw three stakes at the monster.

Pelted by gunshots and stakes, the Abominable Snowman lets out a huge growl, but continues its advance towards the group.

A few more movements, and he can tell he's in trouble...the claymore's definitely not as effective as it should be, had been a few minutes ago. Fortunately, ideas have been running through the Doctor's brain. Glancing at Aeryn, Peter, and Cam, he nods curtly and heads back for the school. "I'll be back."

This calls for more than a sword.

"Damn, they're getting uglier," Tex remarked, shrugged and charged forward with her energy sword. "Let's play."

Peter stared at the snowman for a moment. "Okay, I've thought about what I'm going to do. I think Dr. Pevensie will appreciate that if I live."

He lept toward the snowman, aiming a kick at its midsection.

Cursing, Cameron quickly fired lower, going for the knees.

"KID!" Tex shouted as a few stray bullets impacted her armour. "Learn to fucking aim!"

"Fuck! Sorry!" Cameron gulped and decided to stick to his branch and charge forward too. Maybe setting its fur on fire would help.

The flaming fur thing Cam seemed to be trying looked like a good idea. Peter flipped back, lit a couple more stakes, and threw them at the snowman.

A couple of bullets hit the monster's left knee, but it continues to lumber forward.

Peter charges and tries to stab his last flaming stake into the monster's left knee. "John! Keep shooting at the knee! See if we can take it down!"

Or maybe not. Cameron tried shooting at the chest now.

Aeryn aims for the eyes with both weapons.

Howling, the giant monster is brought to its knees as the bullets and attacks rain down upon it.

Kara reloads and continues to fire bullets into the monster, careful to avoid Peter.

Tex charged up at the creature, using its nose as leverage she jumped right on top of it's head and slashed away with her energy sword.

As the giant head crashes to the ground and a huge cry sounds from the snow army. They attack without reservation!

Peter decides to hold off while the others are shooting and attempting to decapitate the monster.

Seemed like a good idea to him.

Okay, that looked shootable. Cameron got out his P-90 and started firing at its head.
