Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

As the giant head crashes to the ground and a huge cry sounds from the snow army. They attack without reservation!

Tex drives her sword through the head once more before jumping off and pulling a couple of snowmen down to the ground with her sheer weight.

Angel fired off shots with his loaned pulse gun. "Wouldn't hate a spare sword if somebody's got one."

It's a good think that Tex is a walking arsenal. She pulls out a second hilt and throws it at Angel. "Catch."

Angel caught the hilt. He turned the energy sword (http://www.the-junkyard.net/images/weapons/halo2/w_energysword.jpg) on.

If he was from another dimension, he would've said "Shiny."

But he wasn't. So instead he went with a very deeply satisfied and predatory smile.

He had no weapons, but there were too many monsters for him to worry about that. He dove straight in, throwing punches wildly.

Aeryn finds herself wishing she was one of those species that had more than two hands. She reloads the pulse rifle and keeps shooting, making sure to go for the heads or knees.

The batshit crazy snowmen advance, flinging ice balls everywhere, though not very accurately.

As snowmen drop out to reform, another takes their place. They keep coming.

Cameron manages to duck just in time or he would have had a face full of ice ball. Using his burning branch, he charges at the snowmen, going for their heads.

"Crap," Cameron tries to wield his branch without actually having it go out.

And pulse pistols one across the head.

"Ninja snowmen? Come on!" Peter sighed and rushed in with spider-kicks.

It was a little bit frightening, but they fought with expert timing!

And Peter dodged with spider-reflexes as his spider-sense alerted him to their timed attacks.

And then he spider-punched the spider-hell out of a couple snowmonster heads.

Cameron wondered why he felt like humming at while he tried to dodge the iceballs. At least he was staying warm.

As Kara's reloading, an ice ball knocks her in the head, dropping her to the ground.

Peter flipped back out of the crowd to catch his breath. There was no winning taking them head-on. And he had lost his ski mask. Dammit.

"I really need a weapon," he muttered as he stood back.

"I've got an extra gun now," Angel said as he used his loaned energy sword to slice at an advancing snowman.

"Um. I also don't know how to use any weapons, so it's a moot point," Peter said.

Angel pointed towards the snow monster. "End that fires would go that way."

"Get Aeryn to cut you a branch and light it up?" Cameron suggested.

"Didn't I tell you all to get weapons in the gym?" Tex sighed as she kicked on snowman and sliced another. Kung fu her ass. "The mountie's got my assault rifle."
