Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

At the back of the line, the Doctor focuses on his sword. He douses a thick strip of fur from his coat in lighter fluid, wraps it several around the blade, close to the hilt, but far enough away from his hands. This was going to be shit for the sword, in the long run. "Bloody primitive," he mutters as he puts his gloves on, then flicks something on his sonic screwdriver, pointing it at the fur...which bursts into flame. Waiting for a moment, he lets it heat the metal, and then looks around for some snow monsters.
