Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

The pieces of snowman that flew slowly began the process of reformation, while another still-formed one came at Walter with an icicle knife.

Walter shook his head. Great. He sidestepped the snowman and cut it to bits.

"Cutting 'em up just slows 'em down! I'll cover from snowballs!"

The BigScary lowers his internal body temperature to something unreasonable, transforming himself into a being of solid ice, tough as granite. He slides at Walter's legs looking to bowl him over.

Walter jumps into the air, throwing out a handful of wire that cuts into the clinic roof and gives him enough momentum to end up on the other side of the BigScary. He throws his bottle of brandy down on the thing's back on the way over and does a marvelous job...

Until he comes down on the ice and slips, feeling a jolt of pain through his left wrist.

WALTER! Victor ran along the wall to his boyfriend, shooting at the ice creatures as he moved. He knew Walter was a trained fighter, and would probably be alright, but that didn't stop him from getting to a better vantage point to help his boyfriend.

"Take this, ugly!" he yelled, putting the blaster away and throwing another bottle. Peppermint Schnapps.

"Kid!" Han sets the blaster to disintegrate and takes aim at BigScary. He sends out a single shot with perfect aim.

Walter took advantage of the cover from both Victor and Han to regain his feet and get a good look around. The last thing he wants is to get pelted in the back of the head with a snowball. He has a feeling that would be a Bad Thing.

"Why couldn't we have decided to protect the greenhouse?" Pippi called over to walter.

Maia comes up dragging her garbage bag of water balloons. "Will these help?" She said holding up a balloon filled with almost hot water.

"Are they filled with stuff that's flame-able?"

Maia looked thoughtful "No, just hot water and rock salt." Maia said disappointed. "Salt melts snow and ice I thought maybe it would work."

"BRILLIANT!"

*hop*

"Woot! Water baloons!" Victor cried, taking a moment to chuck a Captain Morgan's at a snow beast. "Open the bag for me, would ya?"

Maia hurriedly opened the bag for Victor. "I have more in my room if we need them." She replied quickly lobbing one at a snowman and hitting him in the head.

Using his tongue to its full dexterity, Victor grabed balloon after balloon and lobbed them at the approaching army. Several of them actual hit, and some of the snow melted a little.

The water was hot, but nothing Victor couldn't handle. Even if the balloons burned him, his tongue always healed quickly.

"Maia, water freezes. It makes ice." he gestures to he frozen blood on his ear. "Ice does this."

"Yeah, but hot water melts" Victor said between throws.

"But its hot and it has salt in it." Maia said trying to be helpful.

"Salt! Why didn't you say so?" Han tosses one of the ballons at an advancing beast and watches as its head melts and the rest of it succumbs to the salt.

Maia grinned and opened up her backpack, inside she had a bag of rock salt and some sand shovels. Throwning the sand shovels aside she grabbed a hand full of salt and threw it at the snowmonsters. She would let the guys throw the balloons, they seemed more accurate with them.

"Because we're heroes, not gardeners?" Walter ducked a snowball and ignored his wrist.

BigScary wasn't done with by a long shot, or so it seemed.

"We are in the Gardening Class Walter, that's just as good!" She shouted looking down at the bottle of Whisky that had dusted the early monster...

Ohhhh Jameson's... Pippi decided to save that one for later and pulled the bottle of Belvidere Vodka from her belt.

"Yeah, as soon as I see a plant in need of rescuing, I'll be right on it."

Another pair of snowmen rose from the snow flanking Walter. He winced using his left hand, but pulled wire around them both, taking a spinning kick to send the pieces flying and at least make reforming take longer.

It did indeed take longer, but when the snowmen reformed there were five instead of just two, advancing on Walter from five different angles.
