Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

From the trees, an Abominable Snowman leads a small army of snow aliens.

They advance doing the Macarena.

Is there no end to their evil?

Anakin looked at the approaching horde, then at Logan. "Do I even want to know?" he asked.

"Beyond evil," Sam said, firing her zat directly at the Abominable Snowman. Three times. Maybe it would work better than with the sharks.

The Abominable Snowman, clutching his chest, died in a terribly overdramatic way.

The snow aliens kept coming.

An elite group of four two-headed snowmen advance on their left flank. They're singing "Who Let the Dogs Out?"

It would chill your bones if it wasn't already so cold out.

Shep decides that he's not trying the shark-method on these guys. They looked slightly more intellegent... and he didn't want to get caught with his pants down.

The worst, sadly, was still to come.

From behind the trees a sound could be heard.

It was...twangy.

Three dozen be-mulleted snowmonsters emerged.

Oh yes.

They were linedancing.

To "Achy-Breaky Heart."

Shep reaches into the interior pocket of his jacket and pulls out the mullet wig he'd won in Shop last term. He'd totally forgotten about it until now, but he slapped it on, hoping to confuse the Billy Ray Cyrus wannabes.

Sakura just stared for a moment, then cringed, putting her hands over her ears. "God, do these things not realize how tone-deaf they are!?"

Alanna blinked, repeatedly, and then sent a small, purple fire/energy ball at one of the snowmen.

The snowman's head melted off and he fired a stream of ice wildly at the defenders before walking into a tree and collapsing in a poof of flakes.

He reformed a few moments later.

And he wasn't in the mood to Macarena any more.

Shep jumps out of the way, but not quite fast enough. The edge of an ice stream hits and envelops his ankle. Probably not recommended by the AMA, but it did have the effect of splinting it and stemming the blood flow.

A little more stable, he let loose with his zat. One of the snowmen-demons went up in puff of flakes. Shep did a very sad version of the Macarena at the space left by the thing. "So Macaroni that!"

"And I thought the Sith were bad," Anakin muttered.

He raised his lightsaber and charged at the nearest two-headed monster.

Force, it was cold out.

Behind him, Zoe let loose with a round of supressing fire. Puffs of snow blew off of the snow aliens as they approached.

The other two-headed monsters weren't too excited to see this attack.

They let Anakin know it by throwing huge snowballs at him.

Logan found an old tree branch sticking out of the snow and wrenched it free. He pulled the leaves and smaller branches off it at one end, so he'd have a grip, then lit the other end on fire with the remainder of his blowtorch fuel. Tossing aside the blowtorch, he swung his flaming weapon at the nearest snowman.

He gave Logan a hurt look.

Then he leaned down and made a snow-and-ice ball.

And threw it. Hard.

Not necessarily accurately, though.

Sakura raised an eyebrow. "Sharon," She says, still looking at the new horde of snow creatures. "...just how much crack do you imagine this school is smoking...?" She frowns. This place just got wierder, and wierder.

"A lot. But then, I think that's par for the course. Tell me you've got a way to fight these things and we're not going to drown in snow? Or maybe more hot cocoa? That worked well." Sharon flailed, hating the feeling of being defenceless. "Or, anything else I could use. I don't think hitting them does much."

Sakura smiled a little, holding up her cards. "I think I can handle enough of them," she says. "If we can get them all into one area, I might be able to get rid of a whole slew of 'em at once," she adds.

Here comes a whole group of snow aliens.

And their ray guns are firing ice and snow right at you...

Sakura pales. "Oh, craprabbits." Quickly, she pulls out her cards. She could easily use Fly and move out of range of their ray guns, but that would leave everyone else at their mercy. She wasn't sure if Firey could get to all of them without getting hit by their guns, and...

She frowned. Well this sucked.

She tosses herself to the side and rolls, then calls out Jump. Tiny wings attatch themselves to her ankles and she hops over toward the swarm of snow aliens. Let's hope she could get something done before any of them actually hit her...

Rolling her eyes honestly, why not the Electric Slide?, Zoe took aim at a snowman head.

Now the snowman is headless.

So he can't sing any more.

He started to square dance to show the depth of his despair.

Poor headless snowman. Zoe almost felt sorry for it.

But then she got over it and shot it again, near what would probably be considered its snowman stomach.
