Monster attack

Shots can still be heard down in the town. The troopers seem to be all tied up down there. Which is why it might be disconcerting to anyone watching out the windows to see figures begin rising out of the snow on the lawn of the school. More are moving out of the trees also.

They begin making their way toward the buildings.

[[OOC: If people choose to leave the building to fight, please organize yourselves into groups (preferably in the gym thread) and post your location in the subject line. This will make it a lot easier for me to keep track of everything.]]

"Bastards!" she yells, half-laughing, until an especially icy one catches her on the forehead. Then it doesn't seem funny.

She looks around for a weapon she can toss one-handed, and settles for a chemistry textbook. She lights corner of it on fire before tossing it at the snowmen.

The snow army is almost sad. Chemistry is such a good subject and being killed by a book containing boron just makes them sadder. The fire melts a large portion of the snow army.

The rest of the snow army retaliates with a hail of snowballs.

"Ouch!,' Angela screams, ducking low to the roof. Of course, this just means the snowballs go down the inside of her jacket. She glares at the snow army as she scrabbles for another weapon.

And comes up with a stash of ramen noodle packets.

Well, why not? She starts tossing the ramen packets at the army like frisbees.

Ramen noodles are a good source of sustenance...if you're a human. For a snow monster, it just makes them wet, stringy and melty. Soon, they're a pile of stringy snow.

Dinner anyone?

Seeing it's bretheren go down, Mister Tentacled Snow Monster gathers up snow in his tentacles and catapults three snowballs towards Angela.

"What is it with the snowballs?" Angela groans. Her coat is covered in snow and the side of her face has gone numb.

She finds another textbook -- psychology this time -- lights it on fire, and tosses it at the tentacle-snow-monster-thingie's head.

Freud, Jung, Skinner, Pavlov, and Maslow all rain down on the tentacled snow monster. He melts away while learning about psychoanalysis and Pavlovian conditioning.

He does fling one final snowball up at Angela in defiance!

...and, of course, that's the one that catches her square in the stomach and sends her to the roof.

"Oof," she grunts as she lands on her butt. Sulkily, she crawls behind a chimney.

She'll help if she's needed, but she feels like her work is done for now.
