Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

There is a fire here. It provides light and warmth and a place to mingle and something to burn marshmallows. Don't die in the fire. Drax will not save you if you fall in.

Please note that there is a pig roasting here. He is making shish kabobs. No, you cannot have them. He will grunt at you. No, he cannot talk. He's just a pig who likes making shish kabobs.

Aravis was standing near to the fire in a simple summer gown with a lei draped over her hair.

She may have been eyeing the marshmallows warily.

Pam was thoughtfully poking marshmallows onto skewers and looking around to see if there was anyone doing anything particularly interesting.

Karal wasn't certain why he was there, but he was, wearing his lightest robes and sitting where he could watch the fire.

Altra was somewhere, circling around the outside of the luau, but he wasn't likely to appear unless he was needed. Or someone wanted to feed him.

Annette may have never actually roasted marshmallows. She seemed to have a hard time cause they kept catching fire too quickly and would slide from her stick and plop to the ground. "Yuck."

She was wearing her red striped bikini top and a grass skirt. She also had a couple white lei's on around her neck.

Fraser's there and miraculously out of uniform. Jeans, a sweater and hat still aren't ideal for a luau but he's working on it.

She's just sitting around, roasting marshmallows on a stick. Mmm, marshmallows.

Jim took a seat by the campfire and watched the pig. It clearly didn't have thumbs. Jim couldn't figure out how exactly it was holding the kabobs.

Isabel wasn't shirtless, but she was pretty sure her bathing suit top and the sarong were appropriate. She took a seat near the fire and carefully roasted a marshmallow.

Adam showed up to the luau in a black tank top and a Hawaiian themed bathing suit, that happened to be black and white.

Tori was all set for the luau. She arrived, wearing a blue bikini top and blue board shorts that she usually surfed in.

It was a luau after all, one had to dress appropriately.

Neil was quite ready to go completely shirtless at these school events but he was finally unbending enough that his dress shirt lay unbuttoned, the sides brushing loosely around his lean torso.

He was currently trying to figure out how best to get a lei to lay along his chest without tickling his skin!
