Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

[OOC: FRIDAY SPECIAL EVENTS BEGIN ANEW! Students, instructors, and townies are all welcome.

Also, I turned off notifications, zomg.]

John looked around at the drizzly rain and figured Alec was a really warm-blooded guy. "I don't know if it breaks ice, but it opens up a nice dialog."

"Exactly," Alec said, looking somewhat smug. "I run a higher than normal body temperature than humans do, so even in fall I can be eye candy for the new kids."

"Right, make them feel warm inside when it's cold outside," John couldn't help but chuckle. "Wait, not a normal human?" Maybe John should pay closer attention to conversation.

Alec snickered. "Well, I'm part human," he explained. "Government-sanctioned, genetically engineered, hybrid feline and human, X5 unit 494 -- at your service."

John blinked, "Cool. But, feline, like Dean's pet cat? Or are we talking big cat?"

"Big cat," Alec confirmed with a smirk. "Black leopard, if you want to be specific."
