Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

"Yes, you are," Zuko growled and was now wiping water off his face. At least it canceled out the stickiness, but he was so blocking the next move.

The next move was apparently Katara trying to freeze Zuko's already wet clothes.

"You're kissing Zuko!" she snapped at Mel. "OBVIOUSLY you're possessed or out of your mind."

Granted she wasn't drunk now.

Okay, this was getting annoying. Zuko melted the ice around him and scowled at Katara.

"Quit it, watertribe," he warned.

"Don't tell me what to do, Zuko," she replied heatedly.

Then she turned to Mel. "AND YOU SHOULD STOP DRINKING!"

Katara rolled her eyes and both of them and threw her hands up. "Fine! Go back to making out! But you only have yourselves to blame for being idiots."

And she stomped off.

"YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS!" Mel shouted back.

Then she turned and glared at Zuko. "AND STOP KISSING ME!"

And in a lower voice, "Especially behind the shack in fifteen minutes."

Then she gives him a shove and yells: "JERK!" before stomping off in a particular direction.

Zuko stared after Mel.

Girls were still crazy. Why would he want to kiss her behind the shack?

He'd have to meet her there and tell her as much, just to get her facts straight.

Peter possibly was completely amused at his friend's predicament. But he wasn't completely stupid. That's why he waited a few minutes for Zuko to cool down before approaching him.

"Girls don't usually like it if you yell at them right after the kissing," he pointed out, looking innocent and wingman-y.

Coughing, Peter tried not to smile. "Ah. Must have been my mistake. In my land, we call that lip to lip contact kissing."

"Just now? Was that the yelling?" Peter asked, still working on the not grinning.

"This morning," Zuko scowled at Peter in case he decided to grin.

"Oh," Zuko had actually never thought about it. He wasn't looking for a girl as he wasn't planning on settling down here. "I suppose."

"I'm just saying. If you're going to deny kissing a girl, it seems to be better to deny kissing a pretty one."

The attempt to control the grin was back.

"Oh, crystal," Peter replied. His tone probably indicated otherwise. "So that means we won't be awakened in the cabin any more by screaming?"

"No!" Zuko protested. "She's staying out of my bunk!" He wasn't thinking of nakedness at all really. Or needing to meet her at the shack and let her know that this kissing thing was not happening again. Ever.
