Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

"I require no reward but the knowledge that you are safe," Aravis said, lightly touching his shoulder.

Seely lightly covered her hand with his. "Then I shall endeavour to give you that knowledge in any way I can." he said, in a passable imitation of Petey.

Then, because it was what English would do, he tried the whole kissing the back of her hand thing.

"At least for the time being," she agreed. She looked around. "So there is dancing? Other than limbo, whatever that may be?"

"Yeah," Seely nodded. "Nothing fancy, but there's music and a dance floor, area."

Aravis raised her brows. "And if others make comment, you could always hit them for being ignorant fools," she noted.

She wasn't so much with being a good sport about being mocked, no.

Seely made a mental note of that, then filed it right next to the mental note about Parker not liking being made fun of.

This did not bode well.
