Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

"They're all wearin' the same sorta masks, so I don't think they ate the cafeteria food. I think they're just that way," Zero mused. "They could be aliens, that would be cool. All our aliens before looked like humans. Or were just humans from another planet, which is boring."

"It is, kind of. Now that we know we didn't drink the wrong Kool-Aid," Parker added. "And did I see a talking frog earlier? That's... new."

"Huge for a frog, very wee for a person. Maybe the size of puppy?" Parker hazarded. "And I'm just wondering what's going to attack next. It better not show up tomorrow, or I'm going to be *pissed*."

Parker frowned, thinking. "You know... I don't think we did. Not like the trolls. Or the mummies. There were several weird weekends of people being alternate versions of themselves, but I don't remember having to fight anything until Graduation. Hunh."

Parker pouted hugely, then asked, "Soooo, who with? Maybe they can come along too."

"Abby. She's teachin' kids how to be goth. 'Cept I'm not goth, I'm punk. She said I needed more safety pins." Zero tugged a little at the one in her right ear. "Dunno why."

"I can't see it. Your style is *your* style," Parker said, shaking her head sadly. "But if you can help kids be more goth or more punk, I think you'll be doing your good deed for the summer."
